Long ago, in a forgotten time when ancient trees shared secrets with the breeze and stars twinkled in the sky, there were two fairy kingdoms: Verdentia, where the light fairies lived, and Ironvale, where the dark fairies lived. Though once part of the same land, these kingdoms had grown apart over hundreds of years of enmity. Their people were divided by a conflict that left scars on the land and in their souls.

For years, the struggle continued, with neither side able to gain the upper hand. Eventually, both kingdoms understood that they could not continue the war - neither would survive if the other was destroyed. They called a truce, and the two kingdoms withdrew to their own territories, leaving behind a lingering bitterness that felt like a wound that wouldn't heal.

Long after the shaky peace treaty, Professor Sythaeryn Mortris stands out in the magical world of Verdentia as a shining example of Light Magic. People praise him for his amazing skills and look up to him as a top teacher at the Elderglow Academy. Though he has important duties as an Earl, Sythaeryn loves to teach students who have the potential to be great. But one student is testing his patience. This student has a great gift for magic, but he keeps failing and doesn't care about his own abilities.

Sythaeryn's frustration grows as he deals with his gifted but stubborn student. He decides to offer extra help to get the student to work harder and be more disciplined. The question remains: Can Sythaeryn's knowledge and patience help the student reach his full potential? Or will the student's unwillingness to learn keep him from showing how smart he really is?
