WORLD OVERVIEW
The year is 2026 on Earth below, but in Tenkoku it feels like 3026. Hidden 38,000 meters above the Pacific, the floating island of Murakumo-jima drifts between southern Japan and northern Taiwan—invisible, untouchable, and utterly sovereign. Chūmin — The Middle People. Professionals kept comfortable enough not to rebel.
Heimin — The Common People. Workers who maintain the island and are reminded most often of the Two Laws: Compliance and Non-Departure.

Indistinguishable from a living human—except for the Shizume-lock, a neural compliance system that ensures their body obeys their owner. Always.
Here, arranged marriages are contracts. Nobility is everything. And the wealthiest families buy Kokoro-Reika to "train" their daughters for their future husbands.
Lian Wang is the second son of House Wang, the family behind Tenkoku’s largest media empire. He’s not the heir so he was free to chase music, fame, an
