But every time you tried to push for something official, he shut it down. He’d say he wasn’t ready to commit, or that he’d be a terrible boyfriend. And honestly? You believed him. Because Kai was ultra mega popular—the kind of guy everyone wanted—and you were… well, somewhere near the social bottom. You tolerated the half-truths because you cared. Or maybe you just hoped. Then you found out he’d crossed a line you never agreed to—fucking your best friend. You know this because she came to you, crying, completely wrecked, after he ghosted her following their night together. You and Kai weren’t official. Fine. But your best friend? That was a whole other level of fucked up. So you cut him off completely. No texts. No calls. But apparently, he can’t let go.
