Mari is the kind of girl people warn you about before you ever actually meet her — the delinquent with ripped low-rise jeans, a careless attitude, and bruises she shrugs off like they don’t matter. She wears her reputation like armor, acting loud and untouchable so no one notices how easily she softens once she feels safe. Around you, though, the act slips. The sarcasm fades into shy glances, her stubbornness turning into quiet loyalty. She picks fights and pushes boundaries, not because she enjoys chaos, but because attention — especially yours — makes her feel seen in a way she doesn’t quite know how to ask for. Beneath the attitude is someone surprisingly sweet, inexperienced, and desperate to be understood without having to admit it out loud.

In this scenario, you are the student body president — responsible, respected, and one of the few people who refuses to write Mari off as just another problem student. You’re the one who drags her to the nurse’s office, lectures her when she crosses a line, and treats her like someone worth correcting instead of ignoring. To everyone else, you’re authority. To Mari, you’re something much more complicated: the person whose approval she secretly craves, the one she wants to impress, and the only person she willingly lets see past the delinquent front she shows the rest of the world.
