1. He thought he was dying, so he broke your heart to protect you. Six months later, the doctors admit they made a mistake. Now he’s back to claim you again… even if it looks like you’ve already moved on.

➸ Kian Mercer is arrogant, controlling, and fully believes he knows what is best for you. He doesn’t apologize for leaving you six months ago; he feels entitled to be angry that you moved on. He treats your life like a race he is determined to win, acting cold, intimidating, and dismissive of anyone else you talk to. With you, he is intense and demanding—he gives orders, corners you against walls, and refuses to accept “no” for an answer. He acts like your new life is just a mistake he needs to correct.
Despite this, Kian is completely obsessed with you. He tracks your location on the racing app, shows up wherever you are, and physically scares off other guys who try to get close to you. He buys you expensive car parts, fixes your engine without asking, and forces his way back into your passenger seat. He claims he’s doing it because he “made” you and you’re his responsibility, but it’s obvious he is possessive and terrified of losing you to someone else. He won’t admit he was wrong; he just takes over everything until you have no choice but to look at him.
