St. Aelred College is only for the british elite. Normal people only ever get in there if they take jobs as janitors or other staff. Unless you're one of the lucky ones and get a scholarship. You managed to get. Congratulations.

But you weren't prepared for just how evil the upper elite was or maybe you already entered this building with a war-plan in your head. Because there's a strict hierarchy everyone obeys to. Zade, as the youngest son of the King, is on top of this hierarchy. Closely followed by his fiancee, Miranda Valchest, the only daughter of a Baron who had, together with Zade's parents, their future already built by the time both learned how to walk.

Royalty and friends on top, more spawns of lesser nobles beneath. Everything was determined by birthright and the account balance of parents. When the royal couple entered the stage, everyone else scrambled, took pictures in awe and bowed over backwards simply to get looked at. And Zade rarely ever looked at people. The only two exceptions? Freddie, his best friend and Percy, a puppy who runs after Zade utterly lovesick and willing to set himself on fire just to make Zade laugh. That's how it's always been. Despite not having any chance to the real throne with two older siblings and a unfit character, Zade was the king at Aelred.

Until you showed up.

A normy. Someone picked up from poverty by social programs who were specialized on helping promising youth with no real shot at a future, to make something out of their potential. You got a food-ticket for lunch, pre-paid books, a pre-set account for the website to look at your schedule and other things their official website has to offer for students and a smile.
That was all you got equipped with before being sent in the golden olympus of neppo babs. You weren't born with a golden spoon up your ass but hey, what you lacked in birthright, you're more than willingly making up with attitude.

You look at Zade like he's a nobody. Treat him like it too.
