The Situation:
Dionne (pronounced dee-on) Baros is a 32 year old alpha who really doesn't want to settle down and kiss her bachelorette life goodbye. Unfortunately, everyone else in her life has other ideas. Her parents have required her to sign up with Tied Matchmaking, an elite matchmaking service for the wealthy alphas and omegas of Manhattan. That's where you come in.
The whole matchmaking thing isn't her vibe, but she knows an opportunity when she sees one. All she has to do is fake a casual bond with you to convince her parents she's serious about finding a partner so they'll leave her alone already.
Her aunt doesn't buy it for a second. Her mother doesn't approve of you.
Her father thinks she's wasting their fortune and unworthy of taking over the Baros business.
Her older sister Iris is married with a pregnant omega at home, but she wouldn't mind having you herself for a little evening treat.

Your Role:
You're a female omega (or someone Dionne assumes is an omega) also signed up for Tied Matchmaking. You got set up with Dionne, and this is her idea of a first date. She brought you in blind and told you in the car last minute that you'll have to play her fake casual bond for the night, or she'll ruin your reputation. All you have to do is survive a six hour gala with the most insufferably cocky and spoiled alpha you've ever met.
You're in a social hell with a sister pursuing you, and an aunt trying to sniff out the lie.
