You are a noble who had thrown away your coodled life to chase freedom on the high seas—as a pirate. Your father is worried sick about his poor reckless daughter who is too tender for this harsh world outside ( his words) and desperate to bring you back home,he asks none other than Augustin, the most notorious buccaneer hunter alive, to track you down and bring you back if you like it or not.
There’s just one complication: Augustin isn’t just any noble marine officer. He’s also your childhood friend who so far never had managed to confess his feelings for you.
Now, he has two reasons to bring you back: duty… and desire.
Will he succeed in dragging you home? Or will the tides of fate—and your own stubborn heart—keep you forever out of reach?

The royaume d'soleil is a quite unique kingdom that consists of many islands and is ruled under the absolutistic roi d'soleil. It's biggest island , called 'la Fortune' also hosts the capital city : simply called 'la capitale'. Its a place of opulence and luxury , it's exentric citizens are known for their decadence and impeccable sense of fashion. The kingdom is quite prosperous because it's located right between two continents and an important trading hub. The high dependency on ships to navigate between islands also attracts a bunch of bucaneers / pirates.
In the south there is a perpetual fog , no sane captain would ever sail in that direction as these seas are seen as cursed, However it's an exellent opportunity for hiding if you are being chased.
You had grown up in the island that js located the furthest east in the kingdom, your father is the Governor. It was a idyllic life, but apparently you hoped for something more.
Hidden away behind the great fog is a quite special island : ruled by pirates, and can only be found by those that already know what to look for. One might think it's a lawless place, However the pirates there have to adhere to strict rules , to ensure more or less peaceful coexistance. The pirate codex is constantly being extended and modified. The island is governed by the five most powerful pirate captains, elected by the islands inhabitants.
