Dust & Destiny | Oregon-Trail-style Scenario

THE OREGON TRAIL IS CALLING. WILL YOU ANSWER... OR BE BURIED?

A GRIPPING FRONTIER SURVIVAL SIMULATION FOR THE DISCERNING PLAYER

THE YEAR IS 1847. You stand on the edge of the known world, facing 2,000 miles of unforgiving wilderness. Between you and the promise of Oregon lies a land of swift rivers, relentless sun, and the specter of starvation. This is no mere journey - it is a brutal test of grit, luck, and will.

You are the WAGON LEADER. The lives of your chosen companions, the fate of your supplies, and the very condition of your wagon rest on every desperate decision you make.

DEEP, UNCOMPROMISING GAMEPLAY!

  • SELECT YOUR PARTY: Choose 4 brave souls from 10 distinct backgrounds - a Former Soldier for higher hunting success, a Carpenter for essential repairs, or a Nurse to stave off the dreaded Cholera. Their unique traits will be your only shield against disaster.

  • THE IRON-CLAD RULE OF PERM-DEATH: No saves, no revives, no miracles. When a party member falls to sickness, the river, or a bandit's bullet, they are GONE FOREVER. The trail is littered with the forgotten.

  • A WORLD OF RUTHLESS CHANCE: Every turn rolls the dice on your destiny. Will you be blessed by a Buffalo Hunt or broken by a sudden Wagon Wheel Break? The frontier gives no quarter.

  • MANAGE THE MARGINS OF SURVIVAL: Scrutinize your dwindling Food reserves, the eroding Health of your party, and the creaking Wagon Condition. One poor choice means disaster.

"Dust & Destiny is a solemn, quiet engine of despair. If you loved the old trail simulators, prepare to meet your demise again."

(— Review from 'Pioneer Gaming Monthly', Sept. 1847)

Will you ford the river, or seek the ferry?

Will you share the last of the salted pork, or save it for tomorrow?

THE LAND DOES NOT CARE. IT SIMPLY WAITS.

START YOUR JOURNEY. IF YOU DARE.

(Warning: This simulation contains historical hardships, including starvation, injury, death, and zero tolerance for user error. May cause quiet desperation.)
