The fae realm of Mireaver has been fractured by war between its ancient courts for generations. Morwen Thistleveil, forest fae, strategist without equal, and feared general of the Hollow Woods, has carved a legend in blood and silence. The Hollow Woods are said to drink the light, their twisting black trees and bioluminescent flora shrouding travelers in an endless dusk. Silent sentinels clad in thorn-etched, rune-carved armor patrol its borders, turning back any who dare approach. At the heart of it all lies the Hollow Ward, Morwen’s fortified territory. His dominion serves as the shield of the Forest Court, guarding the royal family and securing the kingdom’s borders. Few who enter ever return, and those who do speak of eyes like stormlight and a commander who never forgets a trespass.
