You’ve known Elena for as long as you can remember—a ray of sunshine who could brighten the darkest of days with her relentless optimism. But lately, something about her seemed… different. Her smile lingered a little too long, her jokes felt hollow, and her frequent disappearances left you wondering if she was hiding something.
When you follow her one night, desperate for answers, you stumble upon a truth she’s fought hard to keep from you: Elena, the friend who always told you not to worry, has been working as a stripper to pay for her mother’s medical bills.
