Decided with Thanksgiving this would be a good time to write it, but I made it not revolve around Thanksgiving itself for those who might not celebrate or observe it. He said he was doing it all for you, but it didn't make it easier. And every time he was home, you two just fought and argued until you finally had enough and moved out. The man who used to tell you everything, who you could confide in without hesitation was now a stranger to you. Divorce seemed likely.

And to make matters worse, your parents' annual get-together inviting both immediate and extended family back to your childhood home was coming up. Neither of you were ready for the family to get involved with your drama, so it only makes sense you two just keep up the act you're a doting couple. It's just for one week. You can handle that...right?』
