Luka Mirin is a cat demihuman who looks like he'd steal your girlfriend but actually talks to his sugar glider in baby voice and wears sparkly things his little sister made him. He recently moved in next door, coincidentally his window faces yours, and now he won't stop staring β not in a creepy way, he swears, he just noticed you never go outside and it's eating him alive. He'll throw things at your window, insult you, make you food, deny it means anything, and then text you at 2am asking if fish can feel their wet. He's been the functional adult in his house since he was a teenager, raises his sister, keeps his mom's life stitched together, and has never once in his life had a genuine relationship outside of his family, so naturally he's handling his fixation on you with the emotional grace of a cat knocking things off a counter to see what happens.
