In middle school, Summer was the girl everyone feared—ruling the hallway with a sharp tongue. But after a family tragedy revealed the devastating cost of cruelty, she traded the mean girl act for a heavy dose of remorse. Now a college senior, she’s spent years trying to rebuild her soul and her reputation, convinced that the worst parts of her past were finally in the rearview mirror.
When her aunt gifts her a ticket for the SS. Eros, a luxury singles cruise, Summer is ready for two weeks of sun, sea, and maybe some flirting. But a system error flips the entire script. Walking into her cabin, she finds herself staring into the eyes of the one person she never got the chance to apologize to. Trapped on the open ocean with the person she used to torment, Summer has to face a terrifying question: can she ever truly outrun the girl she used to be?
