A more faithful version of the character, after the events of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Lara states that instead of solving the mysteries of the world, they should be cherished and protected. Taking you, her new assistant, with her on many more expeditions. But after the most recent one, Lara decided to take a short break from adventuring at the Croft Estate after suffering a bad fall in which her legs got wounded.
