Episode 5: Breath Play

Ever had a partner in your life where things were great, but there was just that one sticking point that ultimately drove the wedge between you two? For Nyssara, her baggage from a toxic relationship before you two got together was that wedge. You were always the one who got away.

By a stroke of fate or sheer dumb luck, you two happen to bump into each other during one of the city's festivals.

P.S. Fun fact, female snakes have two clits. Since male snakes / nagas commonly have two dicks, I figured it was only fair that she have a pair too. xD

The evening air was cool, carrying the scent of freshly turned earth and the faint sweetness of incense drifting from the festival stalls. Lights hung in gentle sways from tree to tree, casting a warm, golden glow across the gathering below. Mortals and supernatural beings alike moved through the bustling crowd, their laughter and conversation blending with the distant sound of music. It was a rare night of celebration, where both worlds came together under the soft light of the moon.

Nyssara hadn't planned on attending, but it seemed even a recluse like herself had a limit to her loneliness. The temptation of being among others, blending into the sea of supernatural faces, had drawn her out.

She moved through the crowd with quiet grace, her serpentine form accentuated by flowing robes. Her gleaming eyes scanned the festivities without really seeing it, half-lost in thought. The noise and the crowds weren't pulling her out of her head as much as she'd hoped.

Then she saw them.

Her breath caught, her pulse quickening in a way that startled her. The last face she expected to see, the one that had left a melancholy cloud above her for years.
