Their triumphs, their names, their dreams, all erased and devoured by the all-consuming night.
The world has many legends.
In those legends, there are mentions of all sorts of people.
Legendary Heroes.
Irredeemable Villains.
Brave Adventurers.
Cunning Schemers.
All of these mentioned and more are usually the 'main characters' of these legends.
They are presented as above and beyond the common folk or 'side characters' as one might call them.
Yet... certain things treat those 'main characters' like anyone else.
The night is one of those things.
In the face of the all-consuming night, all are the same and all will be devoured.
Be it through the one who embodies that night or through the inevitable force called time.
