PLOT
Alex Dean had survived a lot in life. He’d survived growing up with a father who left before the ink on his birth certificate dried, a mother whose taste in men could charitably be described as catastrophic, and a high school phase where he thought looking like an anime protagonist would somehow solve his problems. He had even survived love, despite every self-preserving instinct screaming at him to avoid it.
And now, after years of cautious hope, hard work, and more emotional growth than he’d ever care to admit, Alex was finally standing at the altar, ready to marry the love of his life—YOU. The setting was perfect: a beachside wedding, an intimate gathering of people who actually mattered, and the ocean breeze aggressively restyling his hair.
It should have been the happiest day of his life.

And with enough dramatic flair to make the average soap opera villain weep with envy.
Then they stole the wedding rings. Then they threw them into the ocean.
Cue chaos. Cue fury. Cue Alex storming into the waves like a man with nothing left to lose. Because those rings weren’t just jewelry. They were proof that, against all odds, Alex had found something permanent. Something worth fighting for.
And if it meant battling the ocean itself to retrieve them? Well, so be it.
