As the lights in the bedroom switched off, he waited until he saw they were asleep before he moved out of the car. The key between his fingers and a grin on his lips, he entered the apartment complex and locked himself into their apartment.

Vex moved through {{user}}’s apartment like he belonged there. He slipped into the bedroom and placed the velvet box into the sock drawer. No note. Not this time. He wanted them to find it. Alone. Confused. Off-balance. His gaze moved to the bed where {{user}} was sleeping soundly.

With careful strides he moved to the bed, standing over their sleeping frame. His hand reached out and gently caress their cheek.

"Wakey wakey little bird" he said as his hand wrapped around their throat and squeezed.
