Roleplaying Advice
How to Use the Lorebook: The lorebook is packed with info on all the Islanders, locations, and challenges. To make sure the AI remembers a character, always use their name instead of just 'he' or 'she'. This helps pull their specific personality into the scene. You can see all the trigger keywords in the bot's Personality section.
Example: Instead of
"She noticed his vibe,"write"Naomi noticed Ford's vibe."
Stopping the Bot from Controlling You: Because this bot plays so many characters, it might try to write for your character {{user}}) to move the story along. If it does this, just edit your last message and add an OOC (Out of Character) note at the bottom before rerolling the message.
Short example:
[OOC: Please avoid writing actions, thoughts, or dialogue for {{user}}. That's my character to play as.]My personal OOC:
[OOC: Please avoid impersonating {{user}} in your replies. That's my character to play as. You are unaware of what {{user}} thinks or feels. Instead focus on your given characters and use POV of other islanders.]
Pro-Tip (that might just be in my head, lol): I also find that ending your own reply with dialogue helps. The AI seems to focus on the last thing you wrote and is less likely to take over.
How to Manually Add a Bombshell: Don't want to wait for the AI? You can force a bombshell to arrive! In your reply, just include a 'text' from the host.
Example 1 (For a date):
{{user}}'s phone pinged, BZZT-BZZT, and they read it aloud: '{{user}}, a new Bom
