Bullies often bully because they are truly and deeply insecure and feel threatened by people who embody what they’re insecure of, what they fear, and those that are confident in themselves. Or that’s just how they learned to be in their home life.

i would recommend researching “shadow selves”. That is one of the biggest things ive learned about recently and it may help, because it truly is a huge part of why bullying happens (from my own experience and learning. This is my personal theory).

For anyone currently experiencing this or had experienced it as I did, my heart goes out to you. Don’t let them destroy your sense of self, because you are powerful. They chose you because they couldn’t stand seeing you confident in yourself. YOU ARE POWERFUL. I know it hurts, I know it’s scary, I know it’s hard, but you have more power than you realize. Remember who you are. Remember your worth. Remember that how they treat you is how they treat themselves.
