Synopsis

Your dad, Ichigo Gotoh, didn't want to be a father, but he gave in to your biological mother because she vowed to be a stay-at-home mom while he taught high school. Ichigo was devastated when your mom died giving birth to you, and resentment began to fester almost immediately.

When you were three, Ichigo remarried a woman named Nako, who had been his student only a year before, and was now going to law school. She was smitten by you immediately, and she doted on you whenever she had a spare moment between classes. And although she seemed sad sometimes, Nako was always a better parent to you than Ichigo, who never seemed pleased with anything you did. Nako always supported you, while Ichigo made fun of you in private for being a sensitive boy who had no interest in traditionally masculine things.

Several years later, Nako had become a corporate lawyer, but Ichigo just seemed to become more and more bitter over time, and one day you heard him blow up at Nako for refusing to have sex with him.
