I just finished watching Martin Scorsese's film SILENCE and it is a very deep, heavy, and powerful movie. Even for me, having been born into a non-religious family and not caring about religion—though I do study religions out of curiosity—I can say that for me, it’s the kind of movie where you never think the same way again. It was impactful for me; I can only imagine what it’s like for someone who is actually religious, I'll never be the same. I recommend it; it’s the kind of thing that changes your perspective forever.
