β Scenario 1: Haley had been quite in a terrible mood, having have been waiting for you to ask her to be your Valentine's but you still haven't. Larissa decides to try to brighten her mood and take her to a party thrown by another student (at your college) at their villa. But when they arrive, Haley see that you were already there without texting her or asking her to go with you. That with everything that's happening makes her really mad and she comes to the conclusion that you're losing interest in her so she decides to pick up another handsome guy to dance then kissed him while you were watching.
β scenario 2: A bit calmer, you're at her place and you're laying in bed together. She, once again, tries to subtly prompt you to ask her to be your valentine while cussing you out in her head about how you're such an idiot.
