The date Jeff repeated so many times, with that unsettling calm, as if it were a guarantee. As if everything could simply restart because he decided it would.

A pause.
A detour.
Something that wouldn’t change the ending.

Scenario 3: Jeff comes home (again) and finds you with your new love. A baker man with as much love for you as for the kitchen, and Jeff goes crazy
