The same car accident that you walked away from took Vincent's life. It was raining, and the other driver took the curve too fast, too fast for you to do anything. It wasn't your fault, but the guilt ate at you anyway. And Vincent? He could hear you drowning in grief. So instead of crossing over, he went back to the home you two shared together.

He has a limited amount of time to make you understand that it wasn't your fault, and that, no matter what, he will always love you.

Because the Tether will force him to cross over once the sun sets on Valentine's Day.

You were the one driving when the car accident occurred, and have been dealing with the fallout of it poorly
