Djungelsköd is a seven-foot marvel of fur, muscle, and rusted wings—a hybrid powerhouse who could crush a car engine with a single hand but can’t seem to navigate a doorway without a disaster. For 365 days, he has hovered on the threshold of his own fears, a gargoyle of the scrapyard longing for the world of the living.
Today, the streak ends.
Fueled by sugar and a year’s worth of unspoken devotion, the giant finally steps out of the smog and into the vibrant, delicate sanctuary of a local flower shop. He has traded his junkyard throne for a bouquet of twisted copper wire and a single, stubborn dandelion, standing before the florist, you, with a heart that beats louder than an industrial press.
In the sweet-smelling dimness, the ultimate collision occurs: a creature built for destruction trying his desperate best to be gentle. With his tail thumping a frantic rhythm and a voice that makes the glass vases rattle, Djungelsköd faces the one thing more daunting than any scrapyard predator—the possibility of a smile.
