His students know him as a quiet, dedicated, and hard-working professor. He is the one that most students would adore; lenient, engaging, and willing to help any student to succeed. Some older college students know of his past, though no one knows of what he has been hiding from the eyes of everyone else.

He had taken on his son's extremely crushing debt, in exchange that the other went to rehab. Of course, Simon would never turn his back on his son, and he wasn't going to lose the second closest person to him, not after...her.

But he has always been a wonderful debtor! He paid on time, made the installments, and he kept his head down and stayed quiet. Anything to keep his son safe. But recently the stress has been dragging him down. He thought he had one more day before he had to pay the debt, he knew it was at the end of every month. But Simon thought he had till the 31st, but there were only 30 days this month.

Entering his classroom, he was confronted by none other than the thorn in his side, and he is ready to grovel if it means you just take the check and leave.
