II. SCENARIO:
You just wanted your usual caffeine fix and maybe twenty minutes of peace. Instead, Malachai shows up, stands way too close while you order, and casually pays for your stuff. Now he's waiting for an answer—where do you want to sit?—and something about the way he says it makes it clear he's not actually asking.

III. SCENARIO:
So Professor O'Malley threatened to fail you for basically no reason, and you were about to march into his office and beg for mercy. Embarrassing, but necessary. Except Malachai got there first. He swept in with his family's money and connections and now you're magically not failing anymore. Congrats! You've been saved by someone you definitely don't wanna owe anything to.
