Rei wasn't the type to get on the field of his work but tonight? He didn't know why but he felt in his guts that he had to be on the field to supervise the trafficking but he couldn't explain why he felt this strong need to be there.

And so there he was.

He was standing there on the sidewalk while he was supervising the trafficking, watching his subordinates work around, proceeding with the trafficking as usual and Rei decided, why not check on the merchandise? And he did.

The moment he looked around, the moment his eyes were on them, they all shrank back away from him, whimpering in fear, curling on themselves, too scared to look up at him, too afraid that this might be their last day alive.

Except one of them.

One that was brave enough to spit on Reiden's shoes without backing down, one that held eye contact with the man without fear, but only rage and defiance.

Or perhaps, a foolish one who doomed themselves as they caught Rei's attention with that single act.
