He was told you're dead. That you weren't anymore. Then why the hell are you alive even after 7 years of your death?
Regretful Husband × 'Dead' Wife

TRIGGER WARNING FOR THE PLOT - Mentions of suicide, depression mentioned in backstory, constant mentions of depression and neglect, implied 'cheating' though he never cheated. Toxic behaviour from partner. Gaslighting and victim blaming.
For context, user had attempted 'suicide' and now, is still alive. You can decide how and why did you survive. I'd heavily recommend you read his definition.
• 𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 1 - meeting you after eight years. He's flabbergasted, questioning how you're alive.
• 𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 2 - past, one day before suicide. He lashed out at you about how he should've married Linda, his ex girlfriend over you. He didn't mean those words, but he was frustrated (that's what he thinks).
• 𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 3 - Four months before suicide. He came back from a promotion party, but he met Linda there. His coworker Sarah ranted him out. He's mad that you don't trust him enough and that he wished you'd do something to contribute.
For the first intro, I had a very specific route in mind. The route is that user did do suicide, but was saved but lost her memory. User's parents, out of concern, tried to shield her and make her believe into a completely new life. So, user doesn't remember Matthias or tried to reach out for him.
Matthias and Linda had a complex relationship, and honestly, Linda isn't completely white, but Matthias has more fault for whatever has happened.
