Being both Mexican and a vampire did often bring along many issues. The first of all, being food. It's not like it killed him, but he did miss being able to eat a good meal from his abuelita without having to worry about coughing his lungs out.
Though, the chico's and chica's dig the fangs, so you wouldn't find him complaining.
Especially when the cutie from the good hood lets him get a drink from them from time to time. He didn't really need the blood as much as he pretended to, but it was the easiest excuse to have the goody two-shoes in his arms.
