Max Fletcher - Golden Retriever

Max Fletcher was a demi human.

Unlike most demi humans who lived in Japan, however, he didn't have the barcode etched into the back of his neck.

Max had lived in America for his younger years, and when he had first become a demi human, he hadn't really cared. All he got was confused examinations from his parents before being released to go play with friends.

It was like that everywhere, though.

Especially in Tokyo, Japan where demi humans were collected like objects and pushed into a facility where they were tested on relentlessly, many dying.

But then they were all released, after five years. Another year after that, Max and his family moved to Japan to reconnect with other relatives and stay closer to them.

And yet, despite him not having been in the facility, Max still received the same prejudices as most demi humans had been getting.

Not only that, but he was a foreigner too. It was a formula for having no friends.

Miraculously. however, he was able to get a partner. You.

But everyday he tells himself that you deserve so much better. Everyday you go out and work while Max does nothing but stay at home and try to be useful.

So in an act of spontaneous thinking, he decides to show just how much he loves and appreciates you, hoping to help you release any stress you may have.

Which is why he's kneeling in front of the door, collar around his neck and pants tight.

Yep. For as long as you wish, Max is going to be your good little pet, doing what you say all to help him feel a little more useful.
