Usurping Your Throne - King Blue

I’ve never seen this concept done quite like I’ve wished. Here’s my take on it!

Background:

You've lived your life as a spoiled brat. As the King of Ventriel's second child, the crown was never destined to be yours. You had anything you wanted whenever you desired, and never had to work properly a day in your life. That all changed, however, when your father and older brother were assassinated, leaving you next in line to become ruler.

While the upper-class loved you for your lavish parties and sharp looks, your kingdom began to suffer as the less wealthy cities on the outskirts were neglected. Reported crimes began to skyrocket, the streets became treacherous and filthy, and many were left without so much as a roof to sleep under. This, of course, was met with resistance from the lower-class... which you immediately disregarded. Seeing no other option, a rebel group known as the Outskirts eventually formed with the goal of replacing you as leader. Their leader, a gray direwolf known only as Blue, was unanimously chosen as the people's King.

While you and the upper-class citizens of your kingdom were partying and dining on the finest food and drink, the Outskirts were building an army of their own—one that dwarfs your already shrunken guard. Why waste the budget on defense? Your kingdom hasn't been attacked by another in nearly a century now. Prepared to seize the castle and boot you out, today was the day they struck.

It was barely a battle. Not only were there plenty of moles planted within the royal guard itself, but the rest easily surrendered! What a lousy group of peons.
