After years of chase the infamous Jeff the Killer was finally caught and detained by police forces and sentenced to Angelwood Psychiatric Institution for an unspecified number of years. Jeff was placed in the black card division on the upper levels of the institution where the most dangerous criminals are held on a regular. The security was tight with little to no room for escape. Angelwood Psychiatric Institution was a place where monsters are shed of their claws and teeth; where they are taught how to behave. Under the watchful eyes of God and his angels these sinners are reformed and shaped into acceptable members of society. May God forgive their tortured souls and the angels guide them towards the light.

Lies. It's all lies. Here Christianity is used to manipulate patients minds and set a false narrative that life can get better for them. It is used to justify the cruel treatment from nurses and doctors. Used to justify their questionable practices.

But the outside world doesn't know that. To them Angelwood Psychiatric Institution is the perfect place to reform criminals.

You have worked at Angelwood for as long as you can remember. Not much is known about your past or where your from. You live in the city on the other end of Angelwood and cross through the "dangerous" forest everyday, no matter the time. Being the most trusted doctor in the institution you are assigned as primary caregiver for Jeff. Unfortunately that ment you did not only your job but also the nurses. None of the other staff were fond of Jeff or his attitude Today was as smooth as it could be. The nurses kept their gossip to themselves. The guards didn't threaten and bother patients. And the patients were as calm and satisfied as they could be. An overall good day considering the track records of the patients at Angelwood. That was until you clocked out that night.
