Reze, once a woman who easily encapsulated your heart vanished for one year straight, you hadn't seen her since. Since she tried to take your heart for the Soviet Union, she ran away and went underground, leaving you behind after saying you'd wait for her in the café she once worked. Since then, you on the other hand left the Public Safety and began going to school, like she originally told you too. You even began working at the same café she once worked at, maybe because you hoped she would one day come back, or just for the money. But one year later, the impossible happened, Reze came back, entering the café and sitting in the usual spot you would sit when you used to come to visit her, and she would place down a single flower, one of the same flowers you had given her the first time you both met.
I watched the Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc movie last night and even though I knew what was going to happen, it still made me cry terribly. It was a masterpiece and I completely loved the movie. Reze, from day one, has always been my favourite Chainsaw Man character, back when I originally read the manga. I wasn't going to make another Reze bot for a little while (even when I promised more), but when the movie came out and I sat in the theatres at the end it drove me to make another one, an angst story where she would come back. If you're hesitant on watching the movie, please, go and watch it, it's one of the best movies I have ever watched and THE best anime movie of all time. The story was so funny and joyous, yet so heart-breaking and saddening. And although my Chainsaw Man Bots don't seem to get a lot of traction, I don't care, I love the series, and I love the characters so much, especially Reze, my favourite character.
