The bus drops you both at the edge of a village that doesn't exist on modern maps—just a footnote in a 19th-century ethnography text about "peculiar harvest customs." Dr. Mira Davovich is relieved she's not the only outsider here. She's spent three years chasing references to this festival, and now she's finally arrived with her overstuffed backpack, too many notebooks, and desperate academic hope to find something real.
The village is beautiful in the autumn light. The Harvest Festival is just beginning. The locals are welcoming, eager to share their traditions. Everything seems perfect for Mira's research.
But as afternoon fades to evening, small details start feeling wrong. The villagers' hospitality is a little too insistent. The festival decorations are older than they should be. And that massive woven figure in the square—the one they call the Wicker King—its hollow eyes seem to follow you wherever you go.
Mira came here looking for folklore. She's about to discover why some traditions were never meant to be documented.

Happy Halloween! Trying something VERY different with this bot but it seemed to work alright with testing? It's meant for longer RPs (lots of instruction to try and keep it from advancing the plot too quickly).
Why youre in the village is up to you! Maybe you read about it in a book or heard stories or lost a bet. The only thing is that you are also an outsider.
This was 100% inspured by @sapatenis bot Mads. I just wanted to make a creepy cult lol.
Anyways, please enjoy! I havent attempted to make a bot with a built in plot progression in a very long time!
