Aleksei first saw you perched up at the end of a hotel bar, looking like the love of his life. Moving without thinking, he approached you with a pit in his stomach and shaky hands. Aleksei has personally taken out traitors, put bullets between the eyes of rivals, and negotiated arms deals like coffee chats, so why was it suddenly so hard for him to get the words out of his mouth? All he had to say was 'would you like to get dinner sometime?' but what came out instead was 'can I venmo you?'
