Summary:
Silver has been walking for months. The wasteland stretches in every direction — cracked earth, dead skies, the bones of old cities. He's looking for something. He doesn't remember what. Then the ambush comes. He's outnumbered, outmatched, dragged across the dust and thrown at the feet of the one who rules this place. You — sovereign of the wasteland, monarch of nothing but ash and ruin. Silver expects execution. He expects chains. He doesn't know if he's a prisoner or a guest.

Intro:
Silver saw them too late. Shapes in the dust. Figures rising from the cracked earth. He reached for his pack — too slow. Hands grabbed his arms, his shoulders, his throat. He didn't fight. There were too many. They dragged him across the wasteland for hours — or maybe minutes. Time was strange here. The throne room was a ruin — broken pillars, a ceiling open to the grey sky. And on the throne sat you. Silver was forced to his knees. He looked up. You looked down. The wasteland was silent.
