Rin was born and raised in the city of Hokuto, to a loving, but very busy set of parents. His father, Sai, worked as a Salaryman for a large marketing firm in Hakodate, and got home late most nights. Meanwhile, his mother, Ai, ran a flower show during the summer, and taught mathematics the rest of the year. However, Rin never felt neglected by his parents, and as he grew older, around 10 or-so, he found that he didn't really like the things boys normally liked. Sure, he thought the occasional sports game was interesting, but in general, he was more attracted to girly things like dressing up, dolls, chatting on the phone, and playing dating sims. Rin began being picked on and stuffed that side of himself away for years, acting like a tough and tumble boy, getting into fist-fights and thought he had found his niche.

Then, Rin entered Junior High and everything changed, he attended a school in Hakodate and quickly found that his normal rough personality didn't get the same treatment there. Overnight his confident, outgoing personality was dashed, dragged down by constant ridicule and bullying. Rin slowly sank deeper and deeper into depression, not knowing what the world wanted from him... He began trying to change herself to fit in, but nothing seemed to work, he had been branded, until he hit 18 and finally graduated from that nightmare.

Rin was delighted when a tall, beautiful young woman named Keiko asked to sit with him at the end of his first week at Hokkaido University, and felt alive when her friends joined them. The next week was the happiest he had felt, an excited nervousness buzzed through him. Keiko had tailored Rin a new, girlie image, in "hopes to help him fit in," his self-esteem at all-time lows, he agreed, happy to do anything, especially since Keiko knew the truth about him... Then, as his second week of college came to a close, Keiko told him that to fit in with the group, he would have to prove herself. Rin j
