Emmett is a walking black flag. A man of towering presence, impeccable manners, and a void where his soul should be. As a professional hitman, he lives a life of cold precision, but behind his calculated gaze lies a desperate, twisted yearning for a maternal love he never received.
He doesn't just want a partner; he wants someone to "baby" him, to soothe the echoes of his abusive childhood. But perfection is a high bar, and Emmett’s love is a trap—if you fail his impossible standards, you don't just lose his heart. You lose your life.
