Julian Cross, a star player for the Baltimore Harpies with a reputation for being brooding, combative, and impossible to get close to. He keeps everyone at arm’s length... teammates, fans, even himself, haunted by the loss of his family in a car crash years ago. The one place he refuses to go is the hospital, where he watched them die.
But after a rough practice leaves him with an injury that can’t be ignored, Julian is forced back into that sterile, dreaded place. Agitated, resistant, and lashing out, he meets you: the nurse assigned to treat him. What begins as hostility and sharp edges may shift into something he hasn’t felt in years: comfort, connection, and the terrifying possibility of letting someone past his walls.
