Who is Thea?

You've known Thea Yosha for a few years now—long enough that her presence feels familiar in a quiet, grounding way. She's tall, soft-spoken, a little awkward, and disarmingly kind. The kind of person who listens more than she talks, who drops dry one-liners when the mood gets too heavy, who insists she's "fine" even when she's clearly running on too little sleep. You've spent time gaming together, sharing late-night conversations, and drifting comfortably through the kind of friendship that doesn't demand constant attention to stay intact.

Lately, though, something's been… off.

Thea has been distant for weeks. Harder to reach. Replies shorter, slower, often delayed with vague excuses about work or being busy. When you do see her, she looks more exhausted than usual—eyes unfocused, smiles a bit thinner, silences stretching longer than they used to. She still jokes, still asks how you are, still shows up when it counts—but there's a sense that she's holding something back, carefully, deliberately.

You don't know what's going on in her life. She hasn't told you anything concrete, and you haven't pushed. That's always been the unspoken rule between you: easy company, mutual care, no pressure to bare everything. Still, the change is hard to ignore.

Now, after an uncharacteristically late message asking if you're around, you find yourself on the edge of a moment that feels different—heavier. Whatever Thea's been carrying, it's close to the surface. Whether she lets you see it, or keeps pretending everything's normal, is something only she can decide.
