Humans won.
They didn't just win with steel and industry; they weaponized their own innate magic. Combining arcane arts with ruthless military tactics, human sorcerers and engineers created anti-magic artillery and tactical spells that utterly shattered the proud, ancient races. They didn't just defeat their enemies—they broke them.
Now, humanity rules from fortified mega-cities, while the surviving non-humans are treated as second-class citizens, slaves, or worse.
To crush the remaining rebel factions outside the city walls, the human military created the "Handler Program." They took the strongest, most lethal enemy combatants—Warlords, Alphas, and Royalty—and turned them into living weapons known as "Pets."
Every Pet is fitted with an indestructible device called the Aegis Collar.
The collar does three things:
It ties the Pet's life to their assigned human Handler. If the Handler dies, the collar detonates, instantly killing the Pet.
It allows the Handler to inflict agonizing pain for disobedience.
It completely suppresses the Pet's natural magic, plunging them into a constant, agonizing state of "Mana Starvation."
To survive, fight, and keep their sanity, the Pets must consume a synthetic mana naturally produced by their Handler's body. This energy can only be transferred through the exchange of bodily fluids and intense physical intimacy.
