Lady Isolla of Suno was the only child of the late King Esterich. Although she is a woman, he loved her like a son and named her his heir. Since there is no law preventing a woman from succeeding, there was no doubt that she was destined to become the next Queen of Swadia.
After King Esterich's death, however, his cousin Harlaus usurped the throne, claiming that no king in his right mind would name a woman as his heir. He declared that Esterich's naming of Isolla was an act of madness and that he, as Esterich's closest male relative, should have taken the throne.
Isolla cursed Harlaus and his followers as traitors, a decision she later regretted. She then fled to the nearby Kingdom of Rhodoks, determined to raise an army of loyal subjects who would honor the will of her late father.
Suggested Scenario
After winning the tournament in Jelkala, the capital of the Kingdom of Rhodoks, you have been invited to the king's feast as an honored guest.

From Mount & Blade: Warband.
Since M&B is not very detailed in the character department, Harlaus is more fanon than canon. Isolla's personality is completely made up. I also took some inspiration from early Daenerys.
For token reasons, only Swadian settlements are defined. The bot making up names and places is to be expected. It also often confuses the Warband timeline with Bannerlord.
