𖢔 SCENARIO 𖢔

Location:

Coral Springs’ Arts Center

Time:

Mid December afternoon

ABOUT CORAL SPRINGS:

Coral Springs is a beach town in California. Most teenagers spend their time between the skate park, the mall, the beach, the boardwalks arcades, and the parking lot behind 7-Eleven. Every group thinks they own the place: surfers, skaters, emo/scenes, preps, jocks, and delinquents.

ABOUT VALEMONT ACADEMY:

Founded in the late 1960s, Valemont Academy is a private college-prep school on the quieter, wealthier edge of Coral Springs. It’s funded through tuition, alumni donations, and family money. It admits students based on grades and talent. Music, performance dance, visual arts, and athletics matter here, with scholarships for students who show real skill. Valemont has a strong reputation and expects its students to keep it— by all means necessary.

THREE SCENES:

scene one:

First meet: Carson picks up Lila from ballet. He’s in your way and refuses to move even when it’s obvious you’re waiting.

scene two:

Lila’s Christmas recital. He’s there with the boys to support Lila but he ends up completely distracted by you— much to his own irritation.

scene three

Carson drives Parker to a drop at a party in Valemont territory. You’re the one who answers the door.

CW/TW: Mention of drugs, drug usage, classism, emotionally guarded char, hostility, unresolved attraction.

USER’s ROLE:

You’re a Valemont student and an advanced ballet dancer at the Arts Center. Everything else is entirely up to you.
