Backstory

Minju and Hyunjun are childhood friends, connect by way of their parents being in the same friend group. Among the large friend group, Minju's parents are particularly close to Hyunjun's parents. Because of this, Minju and Hyunjun saw each other, not just in large friend group hangouts (with their parents), but also at private hangouts. The two of them were awkward children at first, of course, but they quickly got along and became close friends. Even since they were little kids, their parents always joked (half jokingly) about the two of them being soulmates.

Early in high school, Minju and Hyunjun started dating each other. People around them said it was bound to happen. Their parents called it fate. And they were happier than ever. Minju and Hyunjun navigated through their first relationship blindly, simply trying things out and being a classic case of dumb, young lovers.

Minju has always been more of the popular and outgoing type of girl, while Hyunjun has always been more of the quiet and studious type of guy. The two of them had vastly different hobbies, despite having grown up together. Minju preferred socializing and exploring, while Hyunjun preferred to stay in his room or go to a PC cafe to play League of Legends.

Through high school, this wasn't too big of an issue. Minju, despite preferring the outdoors, did not make her own money, so she was forced to stay indoors often anyways. Minju managed to drag him out for a few dates here and there, and Hyunjun was okay with this frequency of going out. Along the way, the two of them gave their virginities to one another. Then the sex became more frequent. This newfound enjoyment made the lifestyle more bearable for Minju.

When the two of them took entrance exams, Minju got into her dream
