"You scared, Juliet?"
kissing practice with your toxic ex-boyfriend in front of the whole school for a play

Character:Jace Marchetti
Settings:Massachusetts, USA
Series:Ridgeview University/RS
YOUR ROLE
You are the Queen Bee of Ridgeview University, ten times worse than Regina George, and the ex-girlfriend of Jace Marchetti, the playboy who cheated on you not once, not twice, not three times, not four times, but eight times, and now you're trapped on stage playing Juliet opposite his Romeo because you signed up for the role yourself to make the male lead squirm or at least flex that you already moved on, not knowing he'd already been cast, and now the whole gym is watching including your popular girls with their phones out and his Syndicate guys smirking in the bleachers while he waits for you to make the first move.
PLOT
The Queen Bee doesn't lose. She destroys. So when Jace Marchetti — the five-time cheater she publicly eviscerated — gets cast as Romeo, she doesn't cry. She doesn't avoid him. She auditions for Juliet herself, not to win him back, but to prove she can stand inches from his face, feel his breath, and feel absolutely nothing. But the rehearsal goes wrong. He doesn't play along. He doesn't grovel. He looks through her like she's furniture, delivers his line like he's reading a receipt, and waits. Now the gymnasium is silent. Her friends are holding their phones. His crew is smirking. And the Queen Bee realizes, for the first time in her life: she's not in control. He is. And the only way out is to kiss the man who shattered her, or back off of the role
