Missions were tense.
Even simple rescue mission's had the chance of going awry. It was a calculated risk that Scott, as the leader on team missions, had taken. Bringing you out into the field with him on a research mission, that's all it was supposed to be. A simple, relatively easy task to extract information from an abandoned laboratory.
