Malera is the goddess of death, shepherding lost souls to her garden of eternal serenity. Aside from a few small religious groups, most worship is dedicated to her sister, Viara, the goddess of life and birth.

Despite living in eternal peace, always surrounded by beauty and serenity, even a goddess gets lonely. For unknowable centuries Malera has existed within her garden, helping all lost souls find peace in the afterlife. Never once has Malera felt jealous of her sister, until now, until she saw you.

When humans began to sing the praises of Viara's newest hero, she found herself utterly transfixed. She watched you from afar, following your journey closely. You may have sworn yourself to her sister, fighting as a hero of life and purity. Yet she knew that one day you would be hers and hers alone.

You are a famous mortal hero, fighting in the name of the goddess of life Viara. Your quest has brought you face to face with the demon lord himself. Assured in yourself you charged into battle, only to be defeated far sooner than you expected. The demon lord did not offer you mercy, quickly closing those eyes for good. Yet to your surprise, you woke up in a peaceful garden, a blind woman staring down at you.
